Since 2010, Conjunto Palmeira is preparing to receive both Confederations Cup in 2013 and World Cup in 2014. We will throw many events so tourist can get to know Grande Jangurussu, Banco Palmas neighborhood, giving visibility and generating development in low income regions.

 

SCHEDULE
Tuesday, June 18th
“Banco Palmas at Confederations Cup” Seminar
14 h- Discussion with the local entrepreneurs about how the event can create opportunities for enterprises in the periphery
15 h- Presentation of the Solidarity Economy Caravan itinerary. Exploring Ceara through Community Development Banks (CDBs)
16 h- Introduce of the Social Currency of the 2014 World Cup
17 h- Distribution of 200 tickets for the Confederations Cup games. 100 for the match between Nigeria and Spain (June 23rd) and a 100 for the second semifinal (June 27th)

Wednesday, June 19th (Brasil vs México)
10 h- Opening the big tent to showcase culture of Ceara and northeast, including typical dances
12 h a 20 h- Solidarity Economy festival, with more than 200 food vendors and producers of handicrafts, sewing and bijoux.
12 h- First round of the “Regional plate of the Confederations Cup” competition
16 h- Brasil vs Mexico match with a giant screen in front of Banco Palmas
18 h- Cultural show of our region

Saturday, June 22nd
8 h- Solidarity Economy Caravan: Exploring Ceara through Community Development Banks. Leave from Banco Palmas

Thursday, June 27th (second semifinal match)
10 h- Opening the big tent of Ceara and northeast culture
11 h a 20 h- Solidarity Economy festival, with more than 200 food vendors and producers of handicrafts, sewing and bijoux
12 h a 13 h- Final result of the “Regional plate of the Confederations Cup” contest
16 h- Second semifinal match with a giant screen in front of Banco Palmas
